Accessibility statement

This site is built to be used with a keyboard, a screen reader and magnification, without a mouse and without sight.

Conformance level

The aim is full conformance with WCAG 2.1, level AA. As of 5 August 2026, the automated checks find no level AA failures on any public page, in both the light and the dark theme.

Automated tests cannot find everything. Some criteria need human judgement and are checked by hand.

How it is checked

The check is not a one-off. It runs automatically with every change to the site:

  • Every public page, in both languages, is tested with pa11y against WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • The test runs twice: once in the light and once in the dark theme, because each can hide problems in the other.
  • Contrast is measured by software for every text element against its real background, not judged by eye.
  • The site is developed and reviewed with a screen reader (NVDA).

What has been done

  • A “skip to main content” link at the start of every page.
  • A consistent structure of headings and landmarks, with no skipped levels.
  • A visible focus when using the keyboard.
  • Forms do not rely on the browser’s messages: errors are listed in a summary, each one leads to its field, and focus moves there.
  • Forms work even when JavaScript is turned off.
  • An image without a text description cannot be published: the site build fails.
  • The language switch names each language in that language and is marked so that screen readers pronounce it correctly.
  • A light and a dark theme, following the device setting.
  • No pop-ups, no animations, no cookies and no tracking.

Known limitations

  • Some articles may be available in only one of the two languages.
  • Documents for download (for example PDF) published in the future may not meet the same accessibility level. If needed, their content is provided in an accessible form on request.
  • External links lead to sites we do not control.

Reporting a problem

If you find a page or element you cannot use, please write or call. You will get a reply and, if needed, the content in another accessible format.

Preparation of this statement
